yet remaining unannounced
due to stretching out
long-withheld lowdowns

like unfound unfought battles
as turned-down salvos
with little-or-no bravado
for making bombs
and placing booby traps

while hackers cast
long shadows
that inflict far greater damage

as massive systems crash
and strong storms make landfall
while sirens are heard calling
all along rocky shores

recoiling atop inflammatory platforms
undereportedly casting palls
having had way-too-many second thoughts...
