quickly imitated
precious stone decorations
bestowed by protégés

gaining fame
as flagellation of saviors
portrayed in narrative paintings

stunning lace cuffs high collars with ruffs
suggestive and unsubtle sensual touching
of fresh-cut flowers thrust into doublets...
